If I don't want to continue, I'll have to quit. Takamura “Don't overlook the sweet thing! Weight loss is not self-responsibility! What will happen to the opponent's position if the match is not completed? What will the customer's position be? I apologize and I will not forgive you if you let Jijii make a cheap head down.

Takamura mentions the loss and responsibility issues as a performance failure for weight loss. Takamura: “I ’m going to bleed and draw blood about a liter” Takamura "What is it? Ah? It's not convenient for 1 kilometer after the squeezed words. What you have to stay with Aoki-san! Think about what you can do!) One step to know that, I decided to struggle to follow Kimura somehow. However, Kimura wasn't scared of light weight. Kimura refuses because he is afraid to give it to the upper class. One step "I call an ambulance! It was impossible from the beginning! Let's go up to the light level and get out again!" The first step is to give Kimura a light weight. Water is drained while chewing gum, but it becomes dehydrated and Kimura falls. Kimura goes to the sauna to squeeze further. However, the target weight was still far away. Kimura is making a very dark bear around his eyes. If your son couldn't play, you would be in trouble. George is addicted to making the character a skinhead! !įather: The neighborhood associations also bought tickets. Ippo vs Sawamura is another good one, but it does turn too onesided for too long when Sawamura gets serious, so just shy of perfection.父「町内会の人たちもチケット買ってくれててさ。息子が試合できないとなると困っちゃうんだよね…」 I also like Volg vs Elliot, but Volg was at too much of a disadvantage and I don't love the manner in which he turned the tide, so it's not quite perfect. Nerfs Itagaki in a clever way to make the fight even instead of onesided and boring, which it would always be if Itagaki fought the way he usually does. The guys are very evenly matched, and for once "weight control problems" actually make the fight better. A good back and forth battle, and Hawk's unorthodox boxing style is actually pretty fun. Limited plot armor also made the fight hard to call for anyone, keeping the winner a mystery until the end. Even when Gonzalez looks like he's just dominating Sendo always makes it tense with his crazy punches. And I do almost believe in the miracle, because Date sells it so well. Also kinda doesn't fit my criteria, but I love Date and seeing Ricardo be the monster he is is just a treat. Nothing flashy happens, it's just good boxing between two great charcters. The battle is a nailbiter, very even for most of it and Date is just the most badass character. Ippo utterly dominates, but it's such a rarity in this manga and a joy to read, even if it makes me mad he forgot everything he did here in the next couple of fights. It's weird but amazing, and it's constantly evolving. We see some amazing feats of power from Ippo and a lot of very low lows that are just incredibly emotional. Controversial pick? Has my favorite chapter in the entire manga, where Ippo goes for the last dempsey and talks to the coach in his head. The fight pairing is awesome, the fight is mostly even and it just kicks ass. A good fight should either look even or have a constantly shifting power balance. A lot of fights get too repetitive and/or onesided at some points, but these do a really good job of keeping the action varied enough, not having chapters I might as well skip because it's just more of the same with nothing at stake. The following fights are pretty much perfect.
